Telecare monitoring centre CarelineUK reaches finals of National Business Awards
CarelineUK, a leading telecare response service based in New Milton, has today announced it has been shortlisted by the National Business Awards as a finalist in the Customer Focus Award for the Small Business category.
Open to organisations from across the UK, the National Business Awards are the UK’s most prestigious independent business awards which focus particularly on success, innovation and ethical business.
Carl Atkey, Head of CarelineUK says: “CarelineUK prides itself on providing the best possible service to customers so we are delighted to have made this shortlist. Recent research found that nine out of 10 customers would recommend our service – which is a tremendous endorsement.
“As an employer we recognise effective training and development is essential for employees to deliver excellent customer service. We achieve this through performance development reviews, six-month training inductions and ongoing training programmes which can include external NVQs and diplomas. Our investment in training saw the company achieve Investors in People status in 2008.”
CarelineUK provides around the clock telecare services for the public and private sectors as well as individuals in their own homes. The call response service it provides gives people the opportunity to live a much more independent lifestyle. Feedback demonstrates that the service can also provide peace of mind for families, reducing worry and anxiety.
Carl continues: “Independent research conducted earlier this year found that 97% of customers stated that their experience of CarelineUK has either lived up to, or exceeded expectations so we are thrilled to be recognised as a business providing excellent customer focus. We look forward to the next stage in the judging process, which will see us present our business case to a panel of judges in September.”
The winner will be announced in November.
